Corrosion test for CLP-regulation

CLP richtlijn

According to the new regulation for classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures – the so-called CLP-regulation – a specific label is used when a substance or mixture is corrosive to metals. The BWI can help you in performing the necessary test to determine the corrosivity of your substances and mixtures of concern.

The test is carried out as described in Section 37.4, part III of the UN Recommendations on het Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria (see photo).

For this test, the BWI has the necessary ISO 17025 accreditation as prescribed in the European Directive.
